Lashier Law, PLLC, opened its doors in 2012. Since then, my firm has grown and helped many clients in Macomb and Oakland County work through their divorce and family law matters.

I’m Jessica Lashier, the firm’s founder. I am a family law attorney and certified mediator based in Clinton Township, Michigan. My entire career – spanning more than 10 years – has been focused on family law.

A Strong Background In Michigan Family Law

My first job as a lawyer was with Lakeshore Legal Aid in the Family Law Assistant Project. My time there prepared me well for opening my own family law practice. It also solidified my desire to pursue family law. That position gave me experience trying the most contentious divorce and custody cases involving low-income clientele and survivors of domestic violence. Since moving into private practice, I have worked tirelessly to represent clients in divorce proceedings using my legal training and the skills I developed at Legal Aid – those that take most lawyers years to develop. I also provide family law mediation services.
